Prior to joining DayBlink, Preston worked as a Calculus Instructor at Columbia University, where he earned a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics with a focus on mathematical and statistical modeling. His teaching career began while studying at Texas Tech University, where he served as a Student Instructor for upper-level calculus and differential equations courses. At Texas Tech, Preston earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with an emphasis in Astrophysics, and was awarded Magna Cum Laude with a Fulbright nomination. During college, he served as a Congressional Intern in Washington D.C.
